• St. Jude Dream Home drawing (fiorreports.com) — A St. Jude Dream Home valued around $800,000 has been awarded at 6864 Chaffee Court in Brecksville, putting the spotlight on a new 3,000‑square‑foot build in town. The fundraiser sold 28,000 tickets and raised $2.8 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, adding to more than $29 million generated by Fox 8 over 14 years.
   

• Ohio Resident Admits to Orchestrating $3,000,000 Fake Ticket Investment Fraud Scheme (newsbreak.com) — A Brecksville resident has pleaded guilty to running a fake ticket investment scheme that took more than $3 million from victims in Ohio and Florida. Prosecutors say he used bogus documents, actors posing as investors, and diverted over a million dollars to casino gambling. He now faces significant prison time when sentenced in early 2027.
