• Man charged with physical control after playing loud music in car in the early morning: Lakewood Police Blotter (cleveland.com) — Recent Lakewood police reports detail a series of late-August incidents, from a man charged with physical control after blasting loud music on Larchmont to multiple disorderly conduct arrests on Detroit and Madison avenues. Officers also handled an assault on Edgewater Drive, a keyed car on Brockley, a porch package theft, and a traffic stop on W. 117th that uncovered a concealed weapon.

Tristan Rader, identified as D-Lakewood, leads a bipartisan group urging Ohio transportation officials to halt new Flock license plate reader permits and review existing ones. The broader roundup also covers Columbus suspending its Flock cameras, a Trump-linked defense loan probe, and an Ohio Supreme Court ruling that protects citizen access to local ballots statewide.
