The city says cleanup is the homeowner's responsibility and may soon add the address to its hauling list, while the family cites insurance and investigation delays for the months-long stalemate.

Records show history of fires, violations at Brent Industries facility (13abc.com) — Toledo records reveal at least six previous fires and multiple safety violations at the Brent Industries facility on South Avenue before last month's deadly explosions. Nearby residents are alarmed by the pattern of dryer-related incidents and incomplete follow-up, while Toledo Fire continues investigating what caused the recent blasts that shook the surrounding neighborhood.
4. Indians Narrowly Avoid No-Hitter, Drop Tight Contest (mlb.com) — A tight 2-1 loss for the Indianapolis Indians meant a big night for the Toledo Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field, where Jace Jung drove in the first and winning runs.
