Car flips on roof outside Youngstown drive-thru (wfmj.com) — A car flipped onto its roof after a two-vehicle crash at Poland Avenue and East Dewey Avenue in Youngstown, sending several people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say a black sedan allegedly ran a stop sign and struck a silver sedan, heavily damaging both vehicles and disrupting traffic around Lofaro's Drive-Thru.

2. CPR Anytime kits distributed in Valley (vindy.com) — Youngstown residents connected with ONE Health Ohio can now access 70 new CPR Anytime training kits funded by the Youngstown Area Jewish Foundation Thomases Family Endowment. The American Heart Association hopes these at-home kits will help everyday people quickly learn lifesaving CPR skills and contribute to its broader effort to boost cardiac arrest survival rates across Ohio.

3. Nominations open for annual Excellence in Manufacturing Award - (vindy.com) — Youngstown-area manufacturers can now nominate themselves or peers for the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber's Excellence in Manufacturing Award, open to firms in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties. Nominations are due Sept. 30, with the winner announced at the Chamber's Economic Forecast breakfast on Nov. 5 at Eastwood Event Centre in Niles.

U.S. Marshals find 20 missing children in Mahoning Valley during Operation Meridian (wfmj.com) — Youngstown residents should know that local police helped U.S. Marshals recover 20 missing children across Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties during August's Operation Meridian. Authorities say the effort focused on children missing due to suspected trafficking, abuse, neglect, or running away, and that Children and Family Services is now working to support them.
