• Man arrested for suspected drunk driving at Coquille gas station (kezi.com) — A Coos County sheriff’s deputy arrested a 60-year-old man on suspicion of DUII after smelling alcohol on him inside the Fast Mart on North Central Boulevard in Coquille. The deputy watched the man drive in the parking lot before detaining him, and the man was later cited and released to a responsible adult.
   

• Coquille teen dies, Bandon man injured in two-vehicle, head-on Coos County crash (kezi.com) — An 18-year-old woman from Coquille was killed Wednesday afternoon when a wrong-way driver on Highway 101 in Coos County struck her car head-on, according to Oregon State Police. A 78-year-old Bandon man driving the other vehicle suffered minor injuries, and the crash kept the highway partially closed for about three hours while authorities investigated.
