• Child on bike hit by car near Hillsboro school, rushed to hospital (kptv.com) — A child riding a bicycle was struck by a car near Jackson Elementary School in Hillsboro Monday afternoon and flown to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to city and fire officials. The crash on Northeast Cabrey Court has closed northbound lanes of Northeast Jackson Street, and drivers in the neighborhood are being urged to avoid the area while authorities investigate.
