(montco.today) — Gas-powered handheld and backpack leaf blowers are currently banned seasonally in Lower Merion, affecting Bryn Mawr and neighboring Main Line communities as officials juggle hundreds of complaints and rising enforcement costs. The township plans to tighten restrictions in 2027 before moving to a full year-round ban in 2029, even as landscapers and residents debate noise, pollution, and practicality.
