Comcast Completes Washington County, PA Expansion Connecting Thousands to High-Speed Internet

Comcast has completed a network expansion project that now offers Xfinity and Comcast Business services to more than 2,300 previously unserved homes and businesses across Washington County, Pennsylvania. Residents and business owners now have access to multi-gigabit, symmetrical Internet, mobile, entertainment, home security and advanced business connectivity solutions from America’s smartest and most reliable, converged network. The project was made possible through a public-private partnership with the county and funded in part by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds allocated to expand access to high-speed Internet.

Residents can visit Xfinity.com and businesses should visit ComcastBusiness.com to see if their address is eligible for service.

Building on its investments in Washington County’s connectivity, Comcast presented a $10,000 grant to Ballpark Scholarships, Inc. at a recent Washington Wild Things game, helping the organization open more doors to digital opportunity for local students and families.
