(patch.com) — Educators and specialists connected to Doylestown gathered with colleagues from across Bucks County as the Bucks County Intermediate Unit launched the 2026-27 school year. Opening Day at William Tennent High School emphasized coordinated support for students with complex needs, blending inspirational talks, live music, and training to strengthen services that will reach classrooms and families throughout the Doylestown area.
   

• Ex-Bucks County restaurant manager admits giving teens drugs, alcohol (phillyburbs.com) — A former manager at Central Bucks fast-food restaurants has pleaded guilty to several charges after an investigation into providing underage employees with drugs and alcohol, including incidents linked to his Doylestown apartment. Prosecutors say multiple current and former workers reported receiving illegal substances while employed between 2020 and 2024, and sentencing is expected later this year.
