Philly's Top Wedding Band Takes The Stage Wednesday At Doylestown's Central Park

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Thompson Performing Arts Series continues on Wednesday with a free evening of dance music at Doylestown's Central Park.

The Legacy Band, which bills itself as Philly's top wedding band, is scheduled to take the stage beginning at 7 p.m. at the C&N Bank Amphitheater.

The Legacy Band performs a mix of Top 40 popular hits (from current radio chart toppers to 90s favorites), Motown, funk, and disco throwbacks, and even rock sing-a-long staples.

"Join Legacy at Doylestown’s Summer Concert Series. Grab your chairs and kick back or join us on the dance floor as we cover all your top 40 hits spanning through the decades. Legacy will be sure to have you singing and dancing all evening long," the band said of this week's concert.

Legacy brings 25 years of seasoned performance and showmanship to its shows, elevating the traditional horn band into a full-scale production.

The 10-piece musical powerhouse features four lead vocalists and a choreographed front line that the band's website says "commands attention with charm and sophistication.

"Backed by a killer brass section with custom horn arrangements, Legacy delivers a dynamic, high-energy experience that keeps audiences on their feet well into the night," says the band's website. "Their ability to effortlessly move through a vast repertoire — from timeless classics and Motown gems to 90s and 2000s dance anthems and sing-along rock staples — ensures every guest is part of the party.
