• Easton council agrees to pay half the cost of $357K police body and dashboard cameras (lehighvalleylive.com) — Easton City Council has agreed to seek a federal grant to replace the police department's now-obsolete body and dashboard cameras, splitting the $357,000 cost with city funds. Officials say updated equipment will improve evidence collection, transparency, and daily performance while helping protect the city from unnecessary legal challenges.
   

• Customers across region lose power as nor'easter moves through (wfmz.com) — A nor'easter knocked out power for more than 1,300 Northampton County customers, with most outages concentrated in Easton's West Ward near Washington and Walnut streets. Met-Ed crews expected to restore electricity by late Sunday afternoon, while smaller outages affected parts of Lehigh County and neighboring New Jersey communities.
