• Easton's first 'green' parking lot is planned behind new planetarium (lehighvalleylive.com) — Easton's Nurture Nature Center has secured a $350,000 state grant to turn its Pine Street lot behind the new planetarium into the city's first "green" parking area. Plans call for native plantings, stormwater features, solar lighting, bike racks, and a small food garden, offering residents a greener streetscape and educational space just off Northampton Street.
   

• Freedom boys soccer scores early in each half to earn 10th straight win over Easton (lehighvalleylive.com) — Easton High's boys soccer team dropped a 3-0 road decision to Freedom on Tuesday, extending the Red Rovers' losing streak in the series to 10 straight matches. Despite a strong effort from Easton goalkeeper Matthew Laquintano, Freedom capitalized on early goals and a second-half red card to stay near the top of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference standings.
   

• Phillipsburg Land Use Board Approves 2026 Master Plan Update Supporting Data Center Ban (tapinto.net) — Just across the bridge from Easton, Phillipsburg's Land Use Board has updated its 2026 Master Plan to reinforce a townwide ban on data centers and encourage cottage kitchens and residential zoning near Walters Park. For Easton residents who work, shop, or own property in Phillipsburg, the changes could shape future development, small home-based food businesses, and neighborhood character along the riverfront.
