Newtown Car Show For Autism Postponed

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Potential, Inc., on Friday afternoon, announced the postponement of its 10th Annual Car Show & Family Fun Day for Autism.

"We were looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. Unfortunately, Mother Nature has other plans," wrote event organizers on Facebook. "With the incoming Nor’easter expected to bring heavy rain, sustained winds of approximately 20 mph, and gusts reaching 35 mph throughout the weekend, we have decided to postpone tomorrow’s car show.

"The safety of our attendees, car owners, vendors, volunteers, and team members must come first. With extremely windy and wet conditions expected, we do not want anyone taking unnecessary risks," the organizers said.

"We know this is disappointing, especially after so much planning and anticipation, but we believe postponing the event is the right decision for everyone," they said.

Potential is working to determine a new date and will share the details as soon as they are confirmed.
