According to a preliminary investigation, the Honda was stopped in the northbound lane and was attempting to make a left turn into the landscaping business. A Jeep Cherokee traveling in the same northbound direction was unable to stop and entered the southbound lane as the Odyssey began its turn, resulting in the collision, the report found.

All four adults were transported to the hospital, where a woman who was in the Jeep was pronounced dead.
