3 Die In 2 Pittsburgh-Area Shootings

PITTSBURGH, PA — Three people were shot to death in two separate incidents in the Pittsburgh area on Saturday.

At 3:01 a.m., Allegheny County 911 was notified of a shooting in Derby Alley behind the 800 block of Broadway Avenue in Stowe Township. First responders found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Preliminary information shows that a man fled from the scene shortly after the incident occurred.

At 6:35 p.m., county 911 was notified of a shooting in the 800 block of Miller Avenue in Clairton. First responders found two men who had been shot.

Both were taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead.

Preliminary information shows that multiple suspects fled the area in a vehicle.

The names of the three victims have not been released.
