Cans Of Food Transformed Into Artwork At Pittsburgh Mall
The charitable effort involves 10 sculptures on display that are made entirely of canned food.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A unique form of artwork on display at a Pittsburgh-area mall ultimately will aid those with food insecurity.
Currently being exhibited at South Hills Village is CANstruction, a charitable design competition and public art display that features 10 sculptures built entirely from canned food.
The annual philanthropic effort involves local teams transforming thousands of canned goods into artwork. This year's theme is "Blast from the Past: Building Inspiration from the Good Ol' Days," which is intended to invoke memories from decades past while addressing the needs of the needy.
