Isaly's Food Now Available On A Special Pizza

PITTSBURGH, PA — As the first new Isaly's restaurant in decades prepares to open in the Strip District, people can enjoy its famous chipped chop ham on a pizza right now.

The Pittsburgh-based Caliente Pizza & Drafthouse and Isaly's have paired a created the limited-time Grandma Isaly's Pizza at participating Caliente locations.

The Grandma Isaly’s Pizza comes with Caliente’s Grandma-style crust. It is topped with White American cheese, Isaly’s chipped chopped ham, Isaly’s BBQ sauce, a 50-50 cheese blend, pickles, onions and cheddar cheese.

The pizza arrives as Isaly's is hiring employees for its upcoming location - a 3,500-square-foot space at 2111 Penn Avenue. It's the first new Isaly's location to open in decades.

The shop will offer many of the same treats and experiences that made Isaly’s a regional staple, including a deli counter, classic ice cream flavors and homemade ice cream bars.
