Man Stabbed In Chest In Downtown Pittsburgh
The violent incident occurred early Monday, authorities said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Downtown early Monday.
The incident occurred at around 12:45 a.m. on Sixth Avenue at Coffey Way.
Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said that responding officers found a man who had been stabbed in the chest. Officers rendered aid until medics arrived.

The victim was alert and speaking to officers. He told them he was involved in a fight with another man when he was stabbed.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police subsequently located the unidentified suspect and took him into custody.
