• Men Raped Student At Eastern University Dorm; Victim's 'Friend' Filmed Her: DA (patch.com) — Radnor Township police and county prosecutors are investigating allegations that two men raped an unconscious Eastern University student in a campus dorm while another student allegedly filmed her without consent. Three suspects now face charges ranging from rape to invasion of privacy, and two have surrendered to authorities. Officials say Eastern University has removed the student defendant and is cooperating with Radnor police.

• Lower Salford woman jailed after security vehicle stolen from Longwood Gardens in Chester, police say (northpennnow.com) — Police arrested a Lower Salford woman in Radnor Township after she allegedly stole a security vehicle from Longwood Gardens and led officers on a multi-county search. She's now jailed on numerous felony and misdemeanor charges, with a preliminary hearing set for Sept. 23. The same woman is also in a separate Montgomery County theft case involving a phone at Valley Forge Casino.

• Northeastern Loses Eminent Domain Fight (insidehighered.com) — A recent Massachusetts court ruling over Northeastern University's land in Nahant is prompting fresh attention to town-gown clashes like Radnor Township's short-lived eminent domain threat against Valley Forge Military College earlier this year. While Radnor ultimately backed off seizing 17 acres, the case is cited as part of a national pattern of local governments pushing back on campus expansion and large institutional projects.
