Whitford Country Club Cited for Food Safety Violations (mychesco.com) — Chester County health inspectors recently cited Sabatino's Mobile Pizza on Boot Road in West Chester for cleaning, organization, and equipment repair issues, while other West Chester food businesses like Asuka LLC and another Sabatino unit were found compliant. The broader inspection sweep also flagged significant violations at Whitford Country Club in Exton, underscoring the county's active food-safety oversight.
   

3. Brandywine Valley SPCA gives 60 rescue dogs red carpet moment in Los Angeles (fox29.com) — Rescue dogs that just walked the red carpet in Los Angeles are now up for adoption at Brandywine Valley SPCA's West Chester location, alongside sites in Harrisburg and New Jersey. Flown into Chester County Airport this week, about 60 dogs and puppies of all sizes are seeking local families, highlighting the shelter's ongoing Second Chance program for overcrowded facilities.
   

4. Kennett Square is capping Airbnbs and other short-term rentals to address housing availability (inquirer.com) — West Chester residents may be interested that nearby Kennett Square has voted to cap most short-term rentals at 20 units and bar single-family homes from becoming full-time Airbnbs. The move mirrors West Chester's own 20-unit cap and town-center limits, and comes amid countywide population growth, rising home prices, and concerns that short-term rentals are squeezing long-term housing options.
