• North Kingstown Man Tracked Down, Charged With Assault: Cops (patch.com) — State police say a 19-year-old North Kingstown man was pulled over and arrested on Frenchtown Road in East Greenwich after allegedly brandishing what appeared to be a firearm. He faces charges including assault with a device similar to a firearm and disorderly conduct, and was processed at the Wickford Barracks before being taken to Third Division District Court.

• East Greenwich Lets Low Key Cafe Liquor License Expire (upriseri.com) — East Greenwich's Town Council has allowed Low Key Cafe's Class BB liquor license to expire, officially freeing it for a future applicant after the Main Street restaurant closed over lease issues. The move ends an 18‑month stretch of extensions while the owner tried to resolve building problems, and returns a valuable alcohol-and-entertainment license to the town's pool.

• A Century of Entertainment: The Greenwich Odeum Celebrates 100 Years (wpri.com) — East Greenwich's historic Greenwich Odeum is marking its 100th year with a major fundraising push to secure the theater's future and preserve the landmark building. Organizers hope donations will sustain live performances, expand youth arts education, and maintain the venue as a creative hub for local residents and visiting artists through at least the end of 2026.
