• Coventry Meeting Sept. 2 on Tiogue Lake Management Plan (upriseri.com) — East Providence's Central Pond/Turner Reservoir is part of a new state project developing lake management plans, alongside Tiogue Lake in Coventry and other Rhode Island waterbodies. The work will guide future actions on invasive plants, algae, stormwater and water quality, backed by federal funding and scientific monitoring that could shape how residents use and enjoy these local lakes.
