Megan Cotter of Exeter, is digging into how new housing could strain well water and aquifers in Exeter and neighboring rural towns. Over the next nine months, members will examine drought trends, groundwater capacity, and contamination risks to craft clearer guidance for homeowners, towns, and developers who rely on private wells instead of reservoir water.
