NRIBR Announces Recipients of 2026 College Scholarship Awards
Local students from Woonsocket and Smithfield receive awards of $1,250 each.

(Cranston, Rhode Island) – The Northern Rhode Island Board of REALTORS® (NRIBR) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 College Scholarship Awards. Two scholarships of $1,250 each have been awarded to outstanding local students:
- Kiara Canterbury of Woonsocket, RI, a senior at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts
- Sophie Rizzo of Smithfield, RI, a senior at Mount Saint Charles Academy
The NRIBR Scholarship Program recognizes local students for academic achievement, leadership, and financial need. Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors, college students with one year remaining, and children of NRIBR members pursuing any field of study at an accredited college or university.
“We are proud to support local students as they pursue higher education and future career opportunities,” said Aliesha Noonan Lombardi, 2026 NRIBR President. “Giving back to the communities we serve is an important part of NRIBR’s mission, and we congratulate Kiara and Sophie on their outstanding achievements.”
Applications for the 2027 scholarship program will open in January 2027. More information will be available at nribr.realtor/scholarship.
