Pawtucket Teacher: Cunningham TA Position Abolished (upriseri.com) — A Cunningham Elementary teacher has alerted the Pawtucket School Committee that one of the school's two building teacher-assistant positions was abolished, leaving a high-need first-grade collaborative classroom without a TA this year. Lincoln Suspends Mattress Pickup as Shredder Goes Offline (upriseri.com) — Pawtucket residents can still recycle old mattresses at Tough Stuff Recycling even as Lincoln's curbside mattress pickup is suspended for about a month due to a broken shredder. Lincoln residents are being asked to join a waitlist, or haul mattresses themselves to the Pawtucket or Johnston drop-off sites, which have specific hours and condition rules.
