Providence Man Charged With Possessing Knife During Commission Of Crime: Cops
He was arrested by troopers responding to a disturbance on Broad Street in Providence, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was charged with possessing a knife during the commission of a crime, police said.
Angel Cruz, 37, was also charged with felony assault and/or battery and disorderly conduct, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Cruz was arrested shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday by troopers responding to a disturbance on Broad Street in Providence, according to police.

"Cruz was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court," the release said.
