Providence Man Wanted On Law Eluding Charge Apprehended: Cops
The Providence man was arrested during a traffic stop, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man wanted on a charge of eluding law enforcement failed to elude the law when he was arrested during a traffic stop, police said.
Jorge Hernandez, 29, was arrested shortly before 9:30 a.m. Friday on a warrant charging him with reckless driving and other offenses against public safety, eluding a law enforcement vehicle in a high-speed pursuit, andobstructing an officer in the execution of duty, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Hernandez was pulled over and arrested on Emerson Street in Providence, the release said.

Hernandez was processed at state police headquarters and taken to Sixth Division District Court, according to the release.
