Providence Man Pleads Guilty To Trafficking Meth And Fentanyl: Feds

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Kyle Lemay, 20, "worked as a runner for a transnational narcotics trafficking organization operating out of the Dominican Republic," the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a media release.

Lemay pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, the release said.

The law seized more than 14 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and 275 grams of fentanyl from Lemay’s Providence residence, according to the release.
