Providence Man Wanted In New Jersey Jailed: Cops
The Providence man was captured in Providence County Superior Court, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man wanted in New Jersey was captured, police said.
William Mackenzie, 45, was arrested shortly after 1:30 p.m. in Providence County Superior Court, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Mackenzie was wanted as a fugitive from justice out of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the release said.

Mackenzie was wanted on a charge of probation violation from a vehicle theft conviction, according to the release.
Mackenzie was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Service Center, the release said.
