Wanted Providence Woman Apprehended By Gaming Unit And Fugitive Task Force: Cops
The Providence woman was wanted on theft and other charges, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A wanted Providence woman was apprehended by members of a Rhode Island State Police task force and unit, police said.
Lesley Cornelio, 29, was arrested Wednesday by the Gaming Enforcement Unit and the Violent Fugitive task force, the state police said in a media release.
Cornelio was wanted on charges of theft — obtaining a credit card through fraudulent means, obtaining property by false pretenses or personation, and fraudulent use of credit or debit cards, according to the release.

"Ms. Cornelio was taken into custody without incident, processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Third District Court where she was presented as a Bail Violator," the release said.
