• Here are the scores, recaps from Wednesday's high school games in RI (providencejournal.com) — Scituate athletes were busy Wednesday, with the girls volleyball team narrowly falling 3-2 to Lincoln and the town's tennis courts hosting a Scituate–Shea matchup. The schedule also has Woonsocket visiting Scituate for a 6:30 p.m. game, giving local fans a chance to catch home action and support their teams as the fall sports season gets underway.
