• South Kingstown rejects hate after anti-Islam banners appear along coast (wpri.com) — South Kingstown's town council has formally condemned recent anti-Islam banners flown over nearby beaches, passing a "Hate Has No Place" resolution to support Muslim residents and all faiths. Officials emphasized First Amendment protections, recalled past anti-Muslim incidents near URI, and highlighted how local Muslims have been affected, underscoring a community message of inclusion and solidarity.
   

• New Study in RI Finds Some of the Police and Flock… (golocalprov.com) — A new ACLU of Rhode Island study flags South Kingstown among departments that don't fully disclose how they share or receive data from Flock license plate cameras. The report says Flock limits public archiving of its policies and urges communities statewide to reconsider the surveillance network amid growing privacy and transparency concerns.
