Providence Man Wanted On Larceny, Embezzlement And Fraud Charges Nabbed: Cops (patch.com) — Police say a 36-year-old Providence man wanted on larceny, embezzlement, and fraud charges was stopped on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick and taken into custody on a warrant. State police transported him from Warwick to the Wickford Barracks for processing before turning him over to Pawtucket police in connection with their ongoing case.

Providence Man Charged With Driving On Suspended License: Cops (patch.com) — State police report that a 29-year-old Providence driver was pulled over on Milford Road in Warwick and charged with operating on a suspended license. After being processed at the Wickford Barracks, he was taken to Third Division District Court as a bail violator, highlighting ongoing enforcement on Warwick roadways.
   

3. Fallen Limb On Northrup St.: WFD, Red Cross Aid 3 (warwickpost.com) — Three adults living in two apartments on Northrup Street in Warwick are getting help from the Red Cross after a large tree limb punched holes in their roofs Sunday afternoon. Warwick firefighters confirmed there was no structural damage, but the residents were displaced and are now receiving emergency supplies and longer-term recovery support from Red Cross caseworkers.

Rita Street Camper Fire Sept. 17: 3 Trespassers Arrested (warwickpost.com) — A camper fire on Rita Street near Warwick Cove sent thick black smoke over the neighborhood on Sept. 17, but firefighters knocked it down in about 30 minutes. Officials say one of three alleged squatters caused the blaze while refueling a generator, and all three were later arrested for trespassing after the fast-moving fire threatened nearby homes.
   

5. Warwick police arrest man after asking public to identify person seen with two bikes (turnto10.com) — Warwick police have arrested a 56-year-old man they say was walking with two bicycles, one recently reported stolen, after asking residents to help identify him from a shared image. The suspect, described as a habitual offender with a larceny history, now faces multiple theft-related and vandalism charges while out on bail.
