CARTA moving forward with new video mirrors designed to give bus drivers a wider view (live5news.com) — Charleston's CARTA buses will soon add exterior video mirrors, giving drivers a wider, clearer view of blind spots while also recording what happens around the vehicle. The system, already in testing, is meant to boost safety for riders and operators and provide extra video evidence after incidents, complementing the interior cameras already used across the fleet.
