• Measles case confirmed in Beaufort County, DPH says (counton2.com) — Health officials have confirmed a new adult measles case in Beaufort County, separate from the earlier Lowcountry case reported in Hampton County on June 3. State health investigators are tracing exposure sites across the region and urging anyone who may have been exposed, especially unvaccinated people, to monitor for symptoms for several weeks. The measles vaccine remains highly effective at preventing illness.
