• Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce launches leadership program (live5news.com) — Mount Pleasant residents and business owners can now apply for the Chamber of Commerce's new Leadership Mount Pleasant program, which runs January through November 2027 and costs just a $25 application fee. With sessions on public safety, housing, tourism and more held around town, participants will collaborate on lasting community projects and connect directly with local leaders shaping Mount Pleasant's future.
   

• ECCO invites community to tour new mobile office (counton2.com) — East Cooper Community Outreach is inviting neighbors today to tour its new Mobile Office at the Six Mile Road campus in Mount Pleasant, from 10 a.m. to noon. Visitors can explore the mobile unit, meet staff and learn how ECCO is bringing services closer to rural East Cooper residents by helping them apply for assistance, schedule appointments and connect with vital resources.
