WSCC announces president's, dean's lists (themountainpress.com) — Several Gatlinburg students have earned spots on Walters State Community College’s prestigious president’s and dean’s lists for the spring semester, celebrating perfect and near-perfect GPAs. They’re recognized alongside classmates from Kodak, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Seymour, highlighting strong academic achievement across Sevier County.

SCPLS Announces the 'Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Finale (themountainpress.com) — Gatlinburg-area families can join the Sevier County Public Library System’s summer reading finale pool party on July 2 at the Pigeon Forge Community Center, but space is limited to 75 people and requires pre-registration. Open to all ages without a library card, the event includes swimming, a simple lunch, and a fun wrap-up to the Unearth a Story challenge.

4. New attractions bring more visitors to Pigeon Forge for summer season (wate.com) — New attractions in nearby Pigeon Forge are giving Gatlinburg-area visitors even more to do on their Smokies trips, from a Scooby Doo-themed mini-golf course to a massive indoor slide park opening in July. Locals can expect more jobs, fresh entertainment options, and a Titanic Museum dinner show that recreates first-class dining aboard the 1912 ship.
