(Wise, Va.) ––The Health Wagon is pleased to announce their ongoing partnership with United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF), to host their second free mattress distribution giveaway for breast cancer patients and survivors. The charitable initiative underscores the organizations’ shared goals to provide life-changing resources that promote healing and recovery.

UBCF will provide free therapeutic queen-size mattresses to approved breast cancer patients and survivors. The giveaway will take place in Southwest Virginia at the Health Wagon facility at Wise. Once approved, patients need only call ahead to arrange to pick up their mattresses at the Health Wagon August 3-7. Times for pickup will be scheduled once appointments are made. Importantly, the mattress giveaway is open to individuals nationwide—patients and survivors do not need to reside in Virginia but must be able to pick up their mattress in person.

“Rest and recovery are vital parts of the healing process,” said Paula Hill-Collins, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP, Vice President of The Health Wagon. “This partnership with UBCF allows us to ease a financial burden for survivors while providing them with a resource that directly supports their health and well-being.”
