The agenda also includes naming new private roads near Kingston and Rockwood, with a follow-up public hearing before the Roane County Commission on July 13. • Greenville police charge 3 Colombians in multi-state burglary ring investigation (wcti12.com) — A multi-state burglary investigation tied to an alleged South American Theft Group has reached Kingston, where one suspect was arrested in May and local police assisted Greenville, North Carolina investigators. Three Colombian nationals now face multiple burglary, conspiracy, and tools charges connected to break-ins across several states. The case is ongoing, and more charges are possible as agencies continue coordinating.
