After surviving a house fire and major health challenges, he’s responding well to medication, but shelter staff say his size and coloring make adoption tougher, so they’re hoping a local animal lover will step up.
   

• Clarksville Obituary: Beulah James (clarksvilleonline.com) — Morristown readers may recognize the James family, as Beulah James leaves behind her daughter Dawn James Greene of Morristown along with other loved ones across Tennessee. The longtime church member, seamstress, and devoted grandmother passed away April 10 at age 91 after a life of service, travel with her Air Force husband, and deep involvement in youth and community groups.
