• Train carrying ethanol derailed near Lancing in Morgan County (whnt.com) — Emergency crews are still working after a Norfolk Southern train carrying ethanol derailed and caught fire near Lancing, prompting a temporary evacuation and shelter at Wartburg Central High School. Officials say there are no injuries and no toxic fumes detected, but cleanup in this remote area of Morgan County will take several days as state and local agencies continue monitoring air quality and safety.
