Plants & Planters has been in the same building on Greenville Avenue in Richardson since 1978. On Saturday, Oct. 24, we turn it into a Christmas store again.
By then the pottery’s off the floor and the red carpet’s down. Until Jan. 1 we’re Candy Cane Corner, at 1050 N. Greenville Ave., a few miles south of Plano. In its first season, shoppers rated Candy Cane Corner 5.0 stars on Google.
There are 17 Christmas trees on the floor, each one done in its own theme. Collectors will find Mark Roberts elves, fairies and Santas on the shelves. We also carry wreaths and garland (fresh and artificial), ornaments, lights, nutcrackers and a small selection of designer ribbon.
Our fresh Fraser firs come in Thanksgiving week, 5 to 12 feet tall, and we sell them through Dec. 22. Santa’s coming back for pictures, too. We don’t have this year’s date yet.
We’re open every day of the week: Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can park free, right by the front door. Questions? Call us at (972) 699-1281.
