About the Owner
New owner, Jennifer Byrdsong, a Dallas-Inwood local and former Regional Vice President at Compass Group, spent years overseeing hospitality food service for higher education institutions before retiring to spend more time with her family and her dogs. Missing her pups during the workday and searching for a way to bring them along, she discovered Dogtopia. Inspired by the concept and its mission, she decided to become a franchise owner herself. Byrdsong was sold on the idea after seeing firsthand how much joy and peace of mind Dogtopia gives pet parents, and she wanted to be the one the community trusts to keep their dogs safe, active, and loved while they're at work.
