Early Voting in Forney City Council Election Ends Tuesday
Election Day is Saturday, May 2.

Early voting in the Forney City Council election ends Tuesday. Here's how voters in Place 4 and Place 6 can cast a ballot.
The city put out a reminder about the end of Early Voting on social media Monday morning. Early Voting started on April 20 and runs through Tuesday, April 28. Polls are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
In Place 4, voters will choose Diane McPherson, Joseph "Yaz" Yazdanpanahi, or Sarah Salgado. In Place 6, voters will choose Greg Helm, Curtis Evans, or Florelia "Flower" Escamilla.

Polling placing include:
- Kaufman County Library (Main Location), 3790 S. Houston St., Kaufman
- Forney Sub Courthouse (Court Room), 200 E. Main St., Forney
- Terrell Sub Courthouse (Training Center), 408 E. College St., Terrell
- Crandall/Combine Community Center (Community Room), 500 W. Lewis, Crandall
Election Day is Saturday, May 2. Polls are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. There will be 18 polling locations open across Crandall, Heartland, Forney, Kaufman, Scurry, Combine, and Terrell.

All candidates filed and were qualified for a place on the ballot. The drawing for a Place on the Ballot was held on Monday, Feb. 23, at City Hall. Candidates are listed in the order in which the applications for a Place on the General Election Ballot were filed.
The City of Forney contracts with the Kaufman County Elections Office to conduct its elections.
