• Reaching for the STARS: CT Plus (utsouthwestern.edu) — A North Forney High School senior spent her summer in UT Southwestern's prestigious STARS research program, working in a circadian biology lab that strengthened her interest in combining medicine and research. She joined other top North Texas students in competitive, mentor-led lab projects that exposed them to advanced imaging, CT technology, and biomedical engineering careers. Her experience may inspire other Forney teens to pursue similar STEM paths.
