• Frisco's $3 Billion ‘The Mix' Is Taking Shape, Here's What's Coming (localprofile.com) — Frisco’s $3 billion mixed-use project, The Mix, is rising at Dallas North Tollway and Lebanon Road, bringing a 9-acre central park, housing, offices, and the city’s first Whole Foods. Phase 1 construction is underway now, with initial openings targeted around 2027 and more phases to follow.
   

• Sod Poodles defeat RoughRiders in 10-inning thriller (newschannel10.com) — Frisco RoughRiders fans saw their team drop a wild 13-12 extra-innings game to the Amarillo Sod Poodles after leading by four runs in the ninth. Frisco’s bats were strong, with multiple homers and a 12-8 lead late, but Amarillo rallied to tie it in the ninth and walked it off in the 10th.
   

• Baylor research, from ‘bugs delivering drugs' to a student improving heart transplant treatment (baylor.edu) — A Baylor University research roundup spotlights Frisco native and Baylor junior Abhinav Rajkumar, who’s helping improve how donor hearts are preserved before transplant. His work, alongside major Texas medical institutions, could one day make more hearts viable for patients while showcasing cutting-edge research tied back to a Frisco student.
