• Teen arrested after assault at Odessa KFC (firstalert7.com) — Odessa police arrested a 17-year-old after witnesses reported he assaulted his ex-girlfriend outside a KFC on North JBS late on August 21. Officers say bystanders tried to intervene before the teen was taken into custody on assault, public intoxication, and minor-in-possession-of-tobacco charges. No further details on the victim's condition were released.
