The Woodlands Township board has already approved the agreement, which also clarifies long‑term financial ties first set in 2007 and could leave local budgets with millions more each year.

Family demands accountability after video shows deputy constable inside their garage uninvited (newsbeyonddetroit.net) — A The Woodlands couple is demanding accountability after video showed a Montgomery County Precinct 3 sergeant standing inside their open garage while serving eviction-related papers, prompting an internal affairs investigation. They've filed complaints with multiple agencies, arguing their rights were violated, while a civil rights attorney questions the legality of entering the attached garage without a warrant or emergency.
3. The Woodlands Township answers Mounted Patrol Community Questions (hellowoodlands.com) — The Woodlands Township is assuring residents that mounted patrols are not being eliminated, but may shift from a private Alpha & Omega security model to a Montgomery County Sheriff's Office unit with full law‑enforcement powers.
