Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the festival transforms Alexandria's waterfront into an international destination where visitors can explore the flavors, music, traditions, and artistry of cultures from around the world. From sizzling street food and family recipes passed down through generations to vibrant cultural performances and handcrafted goods, the festival offers an immersive experience for all ages.

FAIRFAX, VA — The League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area is sponsoring a special televised “Know Before You Vote: Virginia Constitutional Amendments” program on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., on&nbsp;Fairfax Public Access, Channel 10. Virginia voters are invited to watch, learn about the proposed amendments, and be informed before casting a ballot on November 3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Watch live on Fairfax Public Access, Channel 10 and or by live-streaming on YouTube through Inside Scoop.&nbsp; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/InsideScoopTVShow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Inside Scoop TV Show - YouTube</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The one-hour program will provide factual, nonpartisan information about the three proposed amendments to the Virginia Constitution appearing on the November 3, 2026 General and Special Elections ballot.
The program will feature three 15-minute segments:
Question 1:&nbsp;Right to Reproductive Freedom Question 2:&nbsp;Marriage Equality Question 3:&nbsp;Voting Rights&nbsp;
For each amendment, the official ballot question will be presented, followed by a discussion of what Virginia law currently provides, what would change if the amendment is approved, what the amendment does not change, and the practical impact on Virginia citizens.
The program is presented solely for voter education and does not advocate for or against any of the proposed constitutional amendments.
