• Amelia Patrons for Animal Welfare needs discussed at ALF (ameliamonitor.com) — Animal lovers in and around Amelia Court House are being asked to step up with volunteer time, cash, and pet food to support Amelia Patrons for Animal Welfare and the county animal shelter. The group is preparing to help furnish a new Richardson Road shelter, continues its low-cost spay/neuter vouchers and feral cat program, and even supplies thousands of pounds of pet food to the local food bank.
